Here at BearGood HQ we were delighted to hear of another Bear being introduced in to this wild world of ours, from pop star parents Cheryl and Liam Payne. We just didn't think that there'd be as many column inches or chatter on social media about it. Yes, it's unusual, but it's not that unusual. Jamie Oliver has a Buddy Bear. And what about the formidable Bear Grylls? I wonder how many people would challenge him about his name!
Hurrah to 'normal' names. Hurrah to 'unusual' names. But the biggest Hurrah should go to all the effort that goes in to helping kids thrive by being happy, healthy and loved. Whether you're a parent, caregiver, guardian, charity worker etc it's not the name that counts, it's what you do to help them grow.
